Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. All purpose flour - 3 cup
  2. Vegetable oil/ghee - 1/4 cup
  3. Salt - 2 tsp
  4. Water - 3/4 cup
  5. Kalaunji/ onion seeds - 1/2 tsp
  6. Potatoes - 3
  7. Peas - 1/3 cup
  8. Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
  9. Turmeric powder - 1/3 tsp
  10. Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  11. Garam masala powder -1 tsp
  12. Chopped onion - 1
  13. Peanuts - 1/2 tbsp
  14. Cashews - 6
  15. Raisins - 8
  16. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Take All purpose flour in a big bowl.
  2. Add 1 tsp salt, 1/4 cup oil and onion seeds.
  3. Mix well and knead a soft dough with help of water.
  4. Leave it for 30 minutes.
  5. Boil potatoes and peel it.
  6. Heat oil in a pan.
  7. Splatter cumin seeds.
  8. Add chopped onion and fry for a minute.
  9. Add turmeric and chilli powder.
  10. Add garam masala and salt.
  11. Add peas and peanuts.
  12. Add cashews and raisins.
  13. Add some water and cook till peas are done.
  14. Mash boiled potatoes.
  15. Add boiled and mashed potatoes in cooked peas.
  16. Samosa stuffing is ready.
  17. Make big size balls from dough.
  18. Roll each balls like roti in 1/4" thickness.
  19. Cut from middle and put stuffing mixture on each part.
  20. Fold in triangle shape.
  21. Heat oil in a big pan.
  22. Fry all samose till golden brown in colour.
