Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Whole Milk 1 litre
  2. Sugar 3/4 th cup
  3. Ghee 1/2 tablespoon
  4. Cardamom powder 1/4 th teaspoon
  5. Chopped Almonds 1 tablespoon
  6. Chopped Cashew nuts 1 tablespoon
  7. Chopped Makhana/ fox nut/ lotus seeds 2 tablespoon
  8. Chopped dry dates (remove seeds) 1 tablespoon
  9. Chopped walnuts 1 tablespoon
  10. Raisins (kishmish) 1 tablespoon
  11. Few saffron strands

Instructions

  1. First of all boil milk in a heavy bottom pan and simmer the heat , keep stirring in between
  2. Add sugar and saffron strands to boiling milk and reduce it till 3/4 th of its original quantity
  3. Heat little oil in a separate pan and sauté all chopped dry fruits and keep aside
  4. When the milk is little thick and reduced , add sautéed dry fruits and let it cook for some more time .. keep stirring in between
  5. Add cardamom powder and switch off heat ..
  6. Serve hot or cold it Tastes equally yum .. and always a hit
