Ingredients to make Hunger Bowl

  • Basmati rice 150gms
  • cauliflower/Brocolli small pieces
  • onion 2 medium size diced
  • Yellow bellpepper 1/2 juliens
  • green chillies 2 juliens
  • lemon half
  • Soy sauce 2 drops
  • Extra virgin olive oil 1 tblspn
  • salt to taste
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tspn
  • Corriander for garnish
  • For dal
  • Arhar dal 1/4 cup
  • Masoor dal 1/4 cup
  • salt
  • hing a pinch
  • turmeric 1/4 tspn
  • Dry red chilly 1 pc
  • garlic 6 cloves chopped
  • Curd wid cumin powder & salt

How to make Hunger Bowl

  1. Boil rice and let it cool
  2. Take a pan and add oil to heat. Add onion and brocolli to the pan.Give a toss.let it fry then add salt and turmeric powder along with them add chillies and bell pepper and saute again.Squeeze half lemon to it and soy sauce drops .Mix rice to veggies
  3. Garnish with corriander and tomato slices
  4. For dal mix both the dals and add salt and turmeric to it.Add water and cook upto 4 whistle.
  5. For tadka take oil ,heat it and add hing and dry red chilly.
  6. Add garlic to it and finally when garlic change it color transfer tadka to dal and get a boil
  7. Serve with masala dahi.
