Ingredients to make Pepper Garlic Gravy(Aids Digestion)

  • For Spice Powder
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsp coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp channa dal
  • 1.5 tbsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp urad dal
  • 1 tsp methi
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • 5-6 red chillies
  • For gravy
  • tamarind lemon size
  • 5 tbsp Sesame oil
  • mustard
  • jeera 1/2 tsp
  • methi 1/2 tsp
  • garlic 15-20 cloves
  • 2 red chillies
  • curry leaves handful
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • salt
  • jaggery optional 1 tsp

How to make Pepper Garlic Gravy(Aids Digestion)

  1. SOAK LEMON SIZE TAMARIND FOR 20 MINUTES
  2. TAKE REQUIRED SPICES FOR SPICE POWDER
  3. IN A KADAI, ADD 1 TSP SESAME OIL. SAUTE 2 TBSP CHANNA DAL AND 1 TBSP URAD DAL
  4. ADD 2 TBSP CORIANDER SEEDS AND 1.5 TBSP PEPPER
  5. ADD 1 TSP METHI AND JEERA. THEN ADD 5 RED CHILLIES.
  6. SAUTE TILL YOU GET GOOD AROMA. ALLOW THE MIXTURE TO COMPLETELY COOL
  7. GRIND TO FINE POWDER
  8. ADD 5 TBSP SESAME OIL. ADD MUSTARD. ALLOW MUSTARD TO CRACK
  9. ADD 1/2 TSP JEERA AND METHI. ADD 15-20 GARLIC CLOVES
  10. WHEN THE COLOUR OF GARLIC CHANGES TO BROWN, ADD 2 RED CHILLIES AND CURRY LEAVES
  11. ADD THICK TAMARIND EXTRACT
  12. ADD 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER AND REQUIRED SALT
  13. ADD SPICE POWDER. MIX WITHOUT FORMING LUMPS
  14. ADD 1 TSP JAGGERY AND BOIL GRAVY FOR 10-15 MINUTES ON LOW FLAME
  15. WHEN THE GRAVY THICKENS AND OIL SEPARATES FROM GRAVY, TURN OFF THE FLAME
