Ingredients to make Eggless Butterless Carrot cake

  • maida - 1 cup
  • carrot grated -3/4 cup
  • sugar -1/2 cup
  • oil -1/4 cup
  • curd-1/2 cup
  • milk -1/4 cup
  • Vanilla essence -1 teaspoon
  • Baking powder-1/2 teaspoon
  • baking soda -1/2 teaspoon
  • cinnamon powder -1/4 teaspoon

How to make Eggless Butterless Carrot cake

  1. Sieve maids, baking powder and baking soda and keep aside
  2. In a bowl add curd , sugar,milk and oil and mix well continuously
  3. Add cinnamon powder and vanilla essence to it.
  4. Add grated carrots maida baking powder and baking soda and fold gently until combined well
  5. Grease a baking tin add the mixture and place it in preheated oven at 180 degree C for 25 to 30 minutes.
  6. Using toothpick check whether done and cut into pieces after it cools down.
  7. Tasty low fat moist carrot cake is ready to be served

My Tip:

Dont skip vanilla essence as it gives good flavour for cake.Also use curd that is not sour.

hi ! same procedure but instead of oven you add 2 cups of salt to cooker and keep a stand over it. remove the gasket and weight , preheat it for 15minutes .then keep the batter in a vessel over the stand and bake for 45min in low flame until done
