Ingredients to make Rice kheer

  • 1 small cup of rice
  • 1 litre milk
  • Dry fruits of your choice
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 2 tbsp sugar

How to make Rice kheer

  1. Take a pan and put some ghee in it.
  2. Roast the rice till they turn into a yellow colour. Add boiled milk in it.
  3. Cook till the milk quantity is reduced to half. Check whether the rice is soft and cooked completely.
  4. Add sugar in it and cook for 2-3 minutes. Then add dry fruits, powdered cardamom and saffron strands.
  5. Enjoy it!

do we need to wash the rice or soak it in water before putting in ghee or just add raw rice to ghee?
