Rava Dhokla

Ingredients to make Rava Dhokla

  • semolina 1 cup
  • curd 1/2 cup
  • salt to taste
  • sugar 4 tablespoon
  • lemon juice 1 lemon
  • Eno fruit salt 1 pack
  • For Tempering:
  • Asfetoida 1/2 teaspoon
  • green chillies 2 slitted
  • oil 2 tablespoon
  • mustard seeds 2 teaspoon
  • curry leaves 8
  • coriander leaves
  • Water 1/2 cup sugar 2 tablespoon
  • pomegranate pearls for garnishing

How to make Rava Dhokla

  1. Mix all the ingredients of dhokla except fruit salt and make batter. Add some water if needed.set aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Add eno fruit salt to batter and mix slowly.. Don't mix very much .
  3. Grease a plate and add batter to plate and put it into a steamer. Cook with covered lid 10 mintues or till the knife comes clean from this.
  4. Add oil in another pan and add all ingredients of tempering except water. After 2 mintues add water . Pour the tempering over cool dhokla.
  5. Garnish with pomegranate pearls and coriander leaves. Serve with chutney.

My Tip:

You can add vegetables also.
