Ingredients to make Schezwan fried rice

  • Long grained rice-1 cup(uncooked)
  • French beans-1/2 cup(finely chopped)
  • carrots-1/2 cup (finely chopped)
  • capsicum-1/4 cup(finely chopped)
  • spring onions-2(white and green part seperately chopped)
  • garlic-8 cloves
  • ginger-1 inch
  • Dry red chillies-2
  • Schezwan sauce-2 tbsp
  • salt
  • vinegar-2 tsp
  • oil-1 tbsp

How to make Schezwan fried rice

  1. TAKE A TBSP OF OIL IN A PAN.
  2. ADD 8 FINELY CHOPPED CLOVES OF GARLIC AND 1 INCH GINGER.
  3. ADD 2 DRY RED CHILLIES.SAUTE FOR A MINUTE.
  4. ADD 1/2 CUP FINELY CHOPPED BEANS,CARROTS,1/4 CUP CAPSICUM AND 2 SPRING ONION WHITES.
  5. SAUTE THE VEGETABLES AT HIGH FLAME FOR 4 TO 5 MINUTES.
  6. WHEN THE VEGETABLES TURN SLIGHTLY BROWN ADD 2 TBSP SCHEZWAN SAUCE.
  7. ADD SALT AND 2 TSP VINEGAR ALSO.MIX WELL.
  8. ADD THE COOKED RICE WHICH WE HAD COOKED 80% AND COOLED DOWN.
  9. JUST MIX EVERYTHING AND GARNISH WITH SPRING ONION GREENS .SERVE HOT.

Nice video. Could have avoided vinegar as schezwan sauce has vinegar :-)
