Ingredients to make Simple fried rice

  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tbsp coriander
  • salt, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

How to make Simple fried rice

  1. Heat oil in a wok, add mustard seeds.
  2. Add sliced onions as the seeds splutter, sauté till translucent.
  3. Add salt and turmeric powder and mix well.
  4. Add the cooked rice and mix well.
  5. Add coriander leaves and serve hot.
