Tomato Curry

Ingredients to make Tomato Curry

  • Tomato 6 Nos
  • Onion 1 No
  • Ginger 1 Small Piece
  • Curry leaves 1 Sprig
  • Green Chillies 3 Nos
  • Coconut Milk 1 1/2 Cup
  • Mustard seeds 1 Spoon
  • Red Chillies 2 Nos
  • Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste

How to make Tomato Curry

  1. Heat coconut oil in a pan. Add chopped ginger, chopped onion, chopped green chillies and curry leaves. When the raw smell of ginger goes add chopped tomatoes. Saute for 3 mins. Add salt and chilli powder. Switch off the gas after 2 mins. Add thick coconut milk after the tomatoes mixture cools down. Splutter mustard seeds, red chilli and curry leaves in coconut oil and add to the curry. It goes well with phulkas
My Tip: Make this curry in coconut oil only
