ABOUT Aloo paneer gravy( without onion garlic) RECIPE

A simple but tasty recipe with almost everyone’s favourite potato, without onion and garlic. perfect recipe for fasting days too.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 boiled potatoes
  2. 75 gm paneer
  3. 2 tomatoes
  4. 1-2 green chillies
  5. 1 tbsp oil
  6. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  7. pinch asafoetida
  8. salt, to taste
  9. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  10. 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  11. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  12. coriander, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a wok and add cumin seeds and asafoetida.
  2. Add chopped potatoes and paneer cubes to it and sauté for a min.
  3. Add tomato purée and mix well.
  4. Add chopped green chillies, salt and all dry spices and mix .
  5. Sauté for 2-3 mins and then add water to make gravy.
  6. Cover and cook for 1-2 mins and then switch off the gas.
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
