Ingredients to make Egg burji

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 large onion finely chopped
  • 1 green chili slit or chopped
  • red chili powder as needed
  • pinch of turmeric
  • salt
  • oil as needed

How to make Egg burji

  1. Rinse a bowl and break the eggs and pour them to the bowl.
  2. Chop onions finely.
  3. Add oil to a pan. Add onions, chilies and fry until golden.
  4. Add red chili powder and turmeric. Stir well.
  5. Add the salt and fry it.
  6. Pour the eggs and scramble lightly. Keep cooking and scramble once more. Stir egg bhurji constantly to prevent burning.
  7. Switch off the stove.
  8. serve egg bhurji with rice or chapathi.
