Desi Potato fritters with a twist

Ingredients to make Desi Potato fritters with a twist

  • 8 to 10 potatoes medium size
  • 2 table spoon rice flour
  • 3 table spoon gram flour
  • 1/4 tea spoon red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tea spoon turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tea spoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 tea spoon chaat masala
  • 1 tea spoon mix herbs
  • salt as per taste
  • water for sprinkling

How to make Desi Potato fritters with a twist

  1. Firstly peel off the potatoes cut them in style of fries or wedges
  2. Wash the potatoes in running water three to 4 times so that starched removed
  3. Take a bowl add all the potatoes and all the masala's including salt
  4. Now add both gram flour and rice flour
  5. Sprinkel some water and coat the flour on potatoes
  6. Mix well nicely
  7. Lastly add some green coriander mix well
  8. Keep the potatoes in freezer for 30 minutes
  9. Double fry all the fritters to make it hot and crisp
  10. Serve them with tomato ketchup

My Tip:

You can use cornflour in replace of rice flour
