Ingredients to make Pav bhaji

  • 1 onion
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 capsicum
  • 2 boiled potatoes
  • 1 cup Cooked vegetables ( peas, cauliflower, carrot, broccoli, bottlegourd, baby corn)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp butter+ as required
  • 2 tbsp Pav bhaji masala
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • salt, to taste
  • lemon juice, as required

How to make Pav bhaji

  1. In a wok, heat butter and oil and add onion.
  2. Sauté onion till translucent, then add capsicum and sauté for 2-3 mins.
  3. Add tomato purée and mix well.
  4. Add salt , red chilli powder and Pav bhaji masala and mix well.
  5. Add grated potatoes and cooked vegetables and mix well.
  6. Cover and cook for 4-5 mins on low flame then switch off the gas.
  7. Sprinkle some lemon juice on top.
  8. Add more butter and garnish with chopped coriander.
  9. Serve with buttered Pav and onions and green chillies.
