Ingredients to make Mathura ke dubki wale aaloo with poori

  • potatoes 500 gm boiled and peeled
  • tomato puree of 4 tomato
  • ginger paste 2 tablespoon
  • Asfetoida 1 teaspoon
  • cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  • red chilli powder 3 teaspoon
  • green chillies slitted 2
  • salt to taste
  • Dry mango powder 2 teaspoon
  • turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
  • coriander powder 1 teaspoon
  • cloves 4
  • Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
  • water 3 cup
  • mustard oil 3 tablespoon
  • For pooris:
  • 2 cup wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoon semolina
  • Kasoori methi 2 tablespoon
  • salt to taste
  • Carrom seeds 1 teaspoon
  • ghee 2 tablespoon
  • water for making dough
  • oil for frying

How to make Mathura ke dubki wale aaloo with poori

  1. Mashed the potatoes roughly .
  2. Put a pan on fire add oil to it. Add cloves, asfetoida, cumin seeds, red chili powder , coriander powder, turmeric powder, roast it.
  3. Add ginger paste and tomato puree. Cook till oil seprates.
  4. Add salt and green chillies and mashed potatoes. My mix well.
  5. Add water and dry mango powder boil it for 8 minutes.
  6. Your dubki wale aallo is ready to serve.
  7. For poori mix all the ingredients and make crumbly texture with the help of ghee.
  8. Add water slowly and make a tight and smooth dough.
  9. Set aside for 10 mintues. After 10 minutes again mash it with greasy hands.
  10. Now make dough balls
  11. Make poori and fry it in hot all from both sides.
  12. Make all pooris in the same way. Your mathura ke dubki wale aallo and poori is ready to serve.

My Tip:

You can add chopped potatoes.
