Shakkar ka Paratha

Ingredients to make Shakkar ka Paratha

  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • water or milk to knead the dough
  • Oil/ghee for pan frying

How to make Shakkar ka Paratha

  1. Knead the dough by adding pinch of salt. Use milk or water and make soft dough.
  2. Take big lemon size dough, roll it as big as puri, put a spoon of sugar and close it just like we do for making stuffed parathas.
  3. Roll it again using dry flour.
  4. On a hot tava fry on both sides using ghee or oil until ready.

My Tip:

Perfect for tiffin too. Remains soft for long time.
