Ingredients to make Prawn dry roast

  • Prawn medium size -25 numbers(1/2 kg)
  • ( peeled,leave the tail,deveined,rinsed and drained)
  • turmeric Powder-1/4 tsp
  • Kashmiri chilli powder-1 tsp
  • salt - to taste
  • Chopped ginger garlic - each 1 tsp
  • coconut oil -1 -2 tbsp
  • curry leaves - 2 arc.
  • salt - to taste

How to make Prawn dry roast

  1. INGREDIENTS: MEDIUM SIZED PRAWNS-25 NUMBERS, TURMERIC POWDER-1/4 TSP,CHILLI POWDER-1 TSP,CRUSHED GINGER GARLIC -EACH 1 TSP,SALT TO TASTE,COCONUT OIL-1-2 TBSP,MALABAR TAMARIND -2 SMALL PIECE,CURRY LEAVES.
  2. COARSELY GRIND THE CHOPPED GINGER GARLIC.
  3. HEAT PAN ADD PRAWNS.
  4. ADD1/4 TSP TURMERIC ,1 TSP CHILLI POWDER, SALT TO TASTE AND 2 PIECE MALABAR TAMARIND.
  5. STIR WELL.
  6. ADD COARSELY GROUND GINGER GARLIC.
  7. MIX WELL.
  8. CLOSE WITH LID,COOK FOR 5 MINUTES IN A MEDIUM LOW FLAME.
  9. LET PRAWN COOK ON ITS OWN JUICE.
  10. SAUTE IT WELL.
  11. ADD FEW CURRY LEAVES.
  12. ADD 1 TBSP COCONUT OIL.
  13. STIR IT.
  14. NOW TAKE AWAY THE MALABAR TAMARIND.
  15. SAUTE WELL TILL DRY.
  16. TRANSFER TO A PLATE AND SERVE.

My Tip:

Instead of adding malabar tamarind you can add lime juice to taste.
