Dahi Gappe

Ingredients to make Dahi Gappe

  • Ready puri 100 pieces
  • Imli 100 gms
  • Jaggery 250 gms
  • Salt as pe taste
  • Chilly as per taste
  • Jeera powder - 3 to 4 tsp
  • Pepper powder - 2 to 3 tsp
  • Dhaniya powder - 3 to 4 tsp
  • Coriander 1 bunch
  • Green chilly 6
  • Garlic cloves - 4
  • Curd 400 ml
  • Nylon sev 200 gms
  • Boiled smashed potatoes 8 pieces of medium size
  • Sprouted moong 200 gms
  • Boiled Black Kala Chana 200 gms

How to make Dahi Gappe

  1. First soak imli for 1 hour and boil it. Add jaggery when it cools down. Add salt, chilly, jeera powder, pepper, dhaniya as per your taste.
  2. Make green chutney in a mixer grinder with green coriander, green chilly 6 pieces, garlic cloves 4, salt, jeera and lemon juice.
  3. Now make garlic chutney of garlic cloves, red chilly and salt.
  4. Now in a plate take puri, pour curd, imli chutney, green chutney and garlic chutney. Fill puri with potato, sprout and black chana. Garnished with nylon sev and coriander.
My Tip: In the garlic chutney add 1/2 tsp jaggery, til and jeera for a yummy taste.
