Ingredients to make Poha Paratha

  • For dough, 2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tsp oil
  • water as required
  • Extra dry flour
  • For Stuffing, 1 cup poha
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 8 to 10 curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp termuric powder
  • 2 green chilli chopped
  • 2 tsp grated coconut
  • 1/4 cup ground nuts coarsly powder
  • 1/2 cup boiled green peas
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 potato boiled and mashed
  • 2 tbsp fresh corriender leaves chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp roasted corriender seeds coarsly crushed
  • ghee for greasing paratha

How to make Poha Paratha

  1. First add salt and milk in flour and prepare a soft dough,cover it and keep aside it for next step
  2. Take poha in a deep bowl dip in water for half minute and strain water and left it in strainer to remove all water
  3. Now heat oil in a pan,cumin,and mustard seeds,when sluppter add chopped onion when translucent add curry leaves and turmeric powder and stir and roast.
  4. Now add green chilli,soaked poha,green peas and cook for a minute,now add mashed Potato,grated coconut,ground nuts powder,salt and mix well and cook for a minute
  5. Add fresh corriender leaves,lemon juice,sugar and roasted corriender seeds and mix well and let it cool,when cool mash with masher
  6. Now take a ball of dough, place a spoonful better of poha mixture,cover all sides nicely and make flat disc of this with take extra dry flour and make chappati of it and place in hot tawa to cook
  7. Grease ghee both side to cook nicely and crispy,make all paratha like this
  8. Now easy,Poha Paratha is ready to serve,serve hot with achar,any already cooked Vegetable or dahi.
