Masala Jeera Rice

Ingredients to make Masala Jeera Rice

  • Washed and soaked basmati rice 1 cup
  • water 3 to 4 glass
  • salt 1/4 tsp
  • For tadka :-
  • ghee 1 tbsp
  • cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Dry red chilli 1
  • cloves 4
  • bay leaf 1
  • star anise 1
  • asafoetida 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped green garlic 1 tbsp
  • Green chilli chopped 2
  • Chopped coriander leaves 1 tbsp

How to make Masala Jeera Rice

  1. IN COOKER ADD 3 TO 4 GLASS OF WATER AND BRING IT TO BOIL . THEN ADD WASHED AND SOAKED RICE 1 CUP.
  2. WHEN IT START TO BOIL ADD 1/4 TSP SALT IN IT.
  3. AFTER 10 TO 15 MINUTES YOUR RICE IS READY.
  4. ADD IN A LARGE STRAINER WHICH ARE COVERED WITH COTTON CLOTH.
  5. LEAVE IT FOR 20 TO 30 MINUTES.
  6. FOR TADKA HEAT 1 TBSP GHEE IN KADAI.
  7. ADD 1/2 TSP CUMIN SEEDS, 3 TO 4 CLOVES, 1 DRY RED CHILLI AND 1 BAY LEAF.
  8. ADD 1 STAR ANISE AND 1/2 TSP ASAFOETIDA.
  9. MIX IT AND ADD 1 TBSP CHOPPED GREEN GARLIC.
  10. ADD 2 CHOPPED GREEN CHILLI AND SAUTE.
  11. SAUTE FOR A MINUTE AND REMOVE FROM FLAME.
  12. POUR TADKA IN COOKED RICE.
  13. ADD 1 TBSP CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES.
  14. MIX IT WITH FORK AND SPOON.
