Egg Khurma

Ingredients to make Egg Khurma

  • 4 Eggs, boiled
  • 2 Onion, chopped
  • 1 big Tomoto
  • 1 small cup Moong dal
  • 1/2 inch Ginger
  • 4 Green chillies chopoed
  • 4 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • A few Curry leaves and Methi leaves
  • A pinch of red chilli powder
  • A pinch of Turmeric powder
  • A pinch of Ajwain
  • A pinch of Yellow food colour
  • Coriander leaves half bunch
  • Salt to taste

How to make Egg Khurma

  1. Heat oil in a vessel, add chopped green chillies, ginger, curry leaves and ajwain. Fry for 1-2 minutes
  2. Add onion chopped and fry for 5 minutes. Then add methi leaves and fry for again 5 minutes.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, fry for 2 minutes. Add tomatoes and again fry for 2 minutes.
  4. Add coriander leaves, yellow food colour and salt to taste.
  5. Then add boiled moong dal, fry for 3 minutes. Then add boiled eggs and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Last garnish it coriander leaves. Yummy egg khurma is ready to serve
