Ingredients to make Kerala nendran banana chips

  • Raw Banana / Nendran - 4 Salt - 1 tsp turmeric Powder - 1 tsp Water - 3 tblsp Oil for deep frying ( Raw Banana / Nendran - 4

  • water - 3 tblsp
  • Coconut oil -for deep frying

How to make Kerala nendran banana chips

  1. Remove top and bottom of banana. Make slit on the banana. Peel the skin. Immerse the peeled banana in cold water.
  2. Mix salt, turmeric and water in a bowl. Set aside.
  3. Heat oil for deep frying.
  4. Use a slicer and slice the banana directly over the oil.
  5. Add a little of the salt and turmeric mix.
  6. Fry till crispy.
  7. Drain on some paper towel. Cool it down.
  8. Store it in a air tight container.
