Ingredients to make fried Ghila pitha ( fried rice flour fritter)

  • half kg bora saul (or brown sticky rice found in Northeast). You can use simple rice as well.
  • jaggery [as required]
  • baking soda [1/4 th tsp]
  • salt
  • oil to fry

How to make fried Ghila pitha ( fried rice flour fritter)

  1. soak the bora saul/ rice overnight
  2. drain it and leave no water
  3. grind it into a little coarse powder
  4. add salt baking powder and mix the Jaggery in little portions to the poder
  5. make it dough like the roti dough
  6. heat oil and fry them well.
