Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. SweetPotato 1 long size
  2. Milk 1 tbsp
  3. Butter(softened) 2 tsp
  4. Sugar 1 tbsp
  5. Rose essence a few drops
  6. Cumin seeds(optional) 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. Boil peeled sweet potato cubes with water and cumin seeds, till they become soft.
  2. Mash them well, and add sugar, butter, and mash again very well with a fork.
  3. Now, split the dough into 2 parts. Add half of the milk into 1 part and mash it well.
  4. Add rose essence to the remaining milk and add this to the 2nd part and mash it well.
  5. Do the above 3 steps when the mix is still hot or warm. Now allow the mix to cool at room temperature.
  6. Now, in a plastic wrap, keep a tablespoon of the 2 mixtures side by side, squeeze and twist the wrap gently to get a momos like pattern balls with little peak at the centre. That's it. The dessert is ready to be served!!
  7. Note: Instead of rose layer, you can make any layer like, tea decoction layer, green tea layer, chocolate layer, etc., or simply make a single layer too.
