Bread pakoda

Ingredients to make Bread pakoda

  • chickpea flour or besan 1 cup
  • Rice flour 3 tablespoon
  • semolina 4 tablespoon
  • ginger garlic grated 2 tablespoon
  • Kasoori methi 1 tablespoon
  • green chillies chopped 2
  • coriander leaves chopped 3 tablespoon
  • coriander seeds crushed 1 teaspoon
  • cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  • Carrom seeds 1 teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • Dry mango powder 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder 1 teaspoon
  • turmeric Powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • oil 2 tablespoon
  • baking soda 1 pinch
  • water for making batter
  • oil for frying

How to make Bread pakoda

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well.
  2. Now add oil and mix well. Add water slowly and make a running consistency batter. Keep aside for 10 mintues.
  3. After 10 minutes mix it well. Cut the bread in triangles.
  4. Heat oil in a pan. Dip the bread triangles in batter and leave in hot oil.
  5. Fry from both sides till it crispy.
  6. Remove it on kitchen towel. Make other in the same way. You can make 15 pieces from this batter. Your crispy bread pakodas are ready to serve. Serve it with green chutney.

My Tip:

Make batter carefully it should not be very thin.
