Ingredients to make Banana nurukku ( jaggery coated bananas)

  • Ripe banana 1 big
  • jaggery syrup 1/2 cup or u can reduce the quantity if u don't want that much higher sweet.
  • cashew nuts 4 chopped
  • ghee 1tsp
  • cardamom powder 1 pinch ( optional)

How to make Banana nurukku ( jaggery coated bananas)

  1. Cut bananas into thin round pieces.
  2. Heat a pan with ghee. Add banana pieces slowly.
  3. Fry both sides without changing colour.
  4. Then add jagger syrup,cardamom powder & cashew nuts. . Stir slowly.
  5. Simmer till all syrup is gone & bananas pieces r well coated.
  6. We can add some syrup on top at the time of serving.
  7. Serve hot or cold.

My Tip:

You can add sugar syrup instead of jaggery. & add grated coconuts also.
