Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Kathal [jackfruit] 1/2 kg
  2. chopped onion 2 tbsp
  3. Chopped green chili 1tbsp
  4. chopped ginger 2tsp
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Red chili powder 1tsp
  7. Clove powder 1/4tsp
  8. Cinnamon powder 1/4tsp
  9. Garam masala powder 1/2tsp
  10. Cumin seeds 1tbsp
  11. Roasted gram flour 2tbsp
  12. Ghee 1tbsp
  13. Coriander leaves chopped 1tbsp
  14. Chat masala powder 1tap
  15. Lemon juice 1tsp
  16. oil
  17. Chutney, Lemon grated cabbage for serving

Instructions

  1. Peel wash and cut the kathal into small pieces . Now boil it for 10 minutes or till it becomes soft.
  2. Cool and remove the seeds then mash it. Heat ghee in a pan add cumin let them crackle add Ginger green chili and onion saute until softened.
  3. Cool and mash it. Heat ghee in a pan add cumin let them crackle add Ginger green chili and onion saute till light golden.
  4. Add red chili powder, garam masala powder, Salt, clove powder, cinnamon powder and mashed kathal mix well.
  5. Now add chat masala powder lemon juice coriander and gram flour.
  6. Cook the mixture for 5 minutes.
  7. Switch off the gas. Divide the dough into equal small portion.
  8. Make kebab shallow fry them till golden and crisp.
  9. Serve hot with chutney. Lemon and grated cabbage
