Ingredients to make Raw banana kari

  • Raw banana1/2
  • salt
  • turmeric powder [a pinch]
  • mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • urad dal - 1/2 tsp
  • red chilly 1
  • curry leaves [10]
  • Hing [asafoetida] - 1/4 th tsp
  • coconut oil 1 tbsp
  • grated coconut 2 tbsp
  • chana dal - 1 tsp
  • oil

How to make Raw banana kari

  1. Boil the banana with salt, turmeric powder with some water.
  2. Now fry the chana dal, urad dal, grated coconut in some oil and then grind it into a powder.
  3. Now heat some coconut oil in a kadhai, add curry leaves and mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add hing.
  4. Now add little salt and red chilly powder. Mix well and then add the ground powder, made earlier. Then add the chopped, cooked banana and then mix well. serve hot.
