Spicy Potato Roast

Ingredients to make Spicy Potato Roast

  • potatoes 4 chopped into small cubes
  • Kashmiri chilli powder 1teaspoon
  • Sambhar powder 1 teaspoon
  • Tumeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • oil 4 tablespoon
  • salt to taste
  • curry leaves 2 sprigs
  • coriander leaves for garnishing

How to make Spicy Potato Roast

  1. HEAT OIL ON MEDIUM FLAME AND ADD MUSTARD SEED, SPLIT URAD DHAL AND BENGAL GRAM.
  2. LET IT SPLUTTER. ADD CURRY LEAVES.
  3. ADD CHOPPED SMALL CUBES OF POTATOES AND MIX WELL.
  4. ADD TURMERIC POWDER, KASHMIRI CHILLI POWDER AND SAMBHAR POWDER.
  5. ADD SALT TO TASTE AND MIX WELL TILL ALL THE POWDERS COMBINE WELL.
  6. COVER WITH THE LID AND REDUCE FLAME TO SIM.LET IT COOK FOR 20 MINUTES.
  7. AFTER 20 MINUTES ON SIMMERING FLAME IT'S PERFECTLY COOKED. REMOVE LID AND FRY OPENLY FOR 5 MINUTES.
  8. CRISPY SPICY POTATOES ARE READY. SERVE IT WITH ANY RICE AND ROTIS.
  9. SIMPLE YET TASTY AND COLORFUL POTATOES ARE LOVED BY ALL.
