Layered Pineapple Pudding

Ingredients to make Layered Pineapple Pudding

  • Fresh pineapple chopped into small chunks - 1
  • Milk - 1 litre
  • Custard powder - 3 tbsp
  • Sugar as per taste
  • Fresh cream/whipped cream - 1 Medium bowl
  • Bread slices - 10 (crust should be removed)
  • Dry fruits chopped - 1 cup
  • Strawberries and kiwi for garnish
  • Grated chocolate - 1 cup

How to make Layered Pineapple Pudding

  1. Take a vessel, add pineapple chopped, sugar as per taste and cook the pineapple till soft and tender. Cool it and set aside.
  2. Meanwhile in an other vessel heat milk, add custard powder, sugar and make the custard. Cool and set aside.
  3. Take a serving dish or a pudding tray 1st layer add bread pieces see to it that no areas are left uncovered. Add the pineapple sugar syrup to the bread, soak all the bread with syrup. Do not add excessive syrup, keep it in fridge for 5 minutes.
  4. Add half pineapple then add custard layer and remaining pineapple. Keep it in fridge for 20 minutes and let it set.
  5. Add whipped cream layer and garnish with dry fruits, strawberry and kiwi. Serve it chilled.
My Tip: Make sure you are adding sugar to the pineapple as well as while making custard.
