Delicious Lamb Chops

Ingredients to make Delicious Lamb Chops

  • 500 gms lamb chops
  • 350 gms yogurt, hung
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 4-5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp chicken tikka masala
  • 1 tbsp paprika / degi mirch
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp roasted cumin / jeera powder
  • 1 tbsp ghee

How to make Delicious Lamb Chops

  1. Whisk the thick yogurt until smooth. Add the red wine vinegar, minced garlic, tikka masala, paprika and salt and whisk until mixed in. Rub the marinade well into the lamb chops, and leave to marinade over night.
  2. Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pressure cooker. Add the chops with marinade, stir. Cook under pressure on simmer for 20-25 minutes until tender, or cook covered until done.
  3. Open, sprinkle with roasted zeera powder, stir fry over high heat until dry.
  4. Serve immediately, with onions, lime wedges and salad.
