About Arbi sabji Recipe

This is a delicious curry of arbis or yams, to be served with some hot rice or roti on the side.

Arbi sabji

Ingredients to make Arbi sabji

  • Arbi or yams [chopped] 250 gm
  • red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • salt
  • Garam masala powder - 1/4 th tsp
  • tomatoes Puree - 1 cup
  • jeera [cumin seeds] - 1 tsp
  • oil

How to make Arbi sabji

  1. Heat a pan with some oil. Add the tomato puree and saute for few minutes.
  2. Add the spices and salt. Let the masala get cooked.
  3. No chop the yams and fry them, add these into the gravy. Add water and bring upto boil. Check for seasoning and serve hot.
