Ingredients to make banana sev

  • 1 cup boiled and grated raw banana
  • 1/2 cup gram flour/besan
  • 1/2 tsp dry mango powder
  • salt as per taste
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 Tsp asafoetida
  • 1 tsp oil
  • oil for Deep frying

How to make banana sev

  1. combine all the ingrediants except oil
  2. mix well and make a dough
  3. oil the dough with 1 tsp oil and keep aside
  4. take a sev maker and grease with oil
  5. place the dough inside the sev maker and close the lid
  6. heat oil in a kadhai and press the sev maker to make sev
  7. turn the side of sev, once it starts floating in the oil
  8. take the sev out, once its colour changes
  9. once cooled, serve or store in an air tight container
