About Lahsuni palak Recipe

Palak is good for health, so this is a delicious side dish made with spinach or palak, to be served along with some dal rice or roti.

Lahsuni palak

Ingredients to make Lahsuni palak

  • 500 gm palak
  • 2 chopped onion
  • 10-15 chopped garlic cloves
  • 2 chopped green chilli
  • 1 small piece ginger chopped
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tsp cumin seed
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 pepper powder
  • 1-2 cordamom
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp cream or malai
  • 1/2 tsp miri powder
  • salt to tast

How to make Lahsuni palak

  1. Wash palak properly
  2. Blanch the palak by soaking in it hot boiling water for 10 minutes then drain it and blend it
  3. In a pan put ghee and heat it
  4. Now add cumin seed, bay leaf, cordam chopped onion, chilli, garlic and Ginger stir well cook 3-4 minutes
  5. Now add turmeric powder chilli powder and coriander powder and cream stir well
  6. Now add turmeric powder chilli powder and coriander powder and cream stir well
  7. Cover with lead cook for 4-5 minutes in meduim flame
  8. Now lahsuni palak is ready
  9. Garnish with fried chopped garlic
  10. Serve with lachcha paratha
