Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Plantain flower-3cups
  2. Sprouts-1cup
  3. Onion-2
  4. Green chillies-2
  5. Ginger paste-2 tsp
  6. Saunf-1tsp
  7. Coriander leaves-1/4cup
  8. Curry leaves-3-4sprigs
  9. Salt-to taste
  10. Oil-for frying

Instructions

  1. Clean the plantain flower and and keep in water/rice soaked water so that it won't turn dark
  2. Chop onions, green chilli, coriander leaves and curry leaves
  3. Sprout green gram overnight
  4. In a bowl add all the above chopped ingredients, grind sprouts in to paste..let the plantain flower placed in colander to drain all the water..add it to above mixture..add even Saunf and salt..
  5. Form in to balls
  6. Either shallow fry in tawa or deep fry in hot oil
