About Crab Masala Recipe

This amazing seafood recipe has a yummy and spicy tadka.

Crab Masala

Ingredients to make Crab Masala

  • Crab 1/2 kg
  • 2 medium-sized onions, chopped
  • salt to taste
  • A pinch of sugar
  • 5 tbsp coconut paste
  • oil 3 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • ginger-garlic chopped 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • lemon slices to garnish
  • red chilli paste 1 tbsp
  • Cooking cream 4 tbsp
  • 3 tomatoes chopped
  • red chilli powder, as per your taste
  • coriander leaves to garnish
  • few curry leaves

How to make Crab Masala

  1. In a pan, heat oil and add the finally chopped ginger-garlic, green chillies and curry leaves.
  2. Add the chopped onions and fry till they turn golden brown. Then add the ginger-garlic paste, red chilli paste, turmeric powder, pepper powder, red chilli powder as per your taste and fry it for 1 minute.
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes and coriander leaves. Fry till the tomatoes get mashed, then add the crab and toss it for 5 minutes.
  4. Next, add coconut paste with a pinch of sugar and salt to taste.
  5. Lastly add in the cooking cream and garnish it with coriander leaves, lemon slices, chillies and serve.

My Tip:

Add some spring onion for spicy and delicious taste
