Spicy Potato Fry

Ingredients to make Spicy Potato Fry

  • Potatoes 6-8
  • Ginger - 1 inch long
  • Garlic 15-20 cloves
  • Green chilli 2-3
  • Hung curd - 2 tbsp
  • Coriander - 1/4 cup
  • Garam Masala - 1 tsp
  • Lime juice - 1 tbsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Red chilli powder - if required
  • Chaat Masala to sprinkle on top

How to make Spicy Potato Fry

  1. Boil the potatoes. Peel and cut in pieces and keep aside.
  2. Make a coarse paste of the ginger, garlic, green chilli, coriander and hung curd. Mix it well with the potato cubes and let it marinate for 30-45 minutes.
  3. In a pan, heat some butter and add the marinade. Add a little salt and garam masala and squeeze half a lime. You can also add some red chilli powder for that extra spice.
  4. Mix it well, cover and cook for 2 minutes and serve it hot after sprinkling some chaat masala on top.
My Tip: Lime juice and chaat masala play an important role and add a twist to the dish.
