My mom's recipe very very tasty, a dish made with bananas.

Nenthran pazha ada pradhaman

Ingredients to make Nenthran pazha ada pradhaman

  • Nenthran banana 1 number
  • Raw rice flour 1 table spoon
  • banana leaf 1 big
  • jaggery 1/4 kg
  • cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • coconut 1 big
  • ghee 1/4 cup
  • Cashew and raisins for garnishing

How to make Nenthran pazha ada pradhaman

  1. Grind raw rice and banana in to a smooth and thick batter
  2. Spread it in greesed banana leaf
  3. Fold it and put it in boiling water and cook well
  4. Do not put in water before boiling
  5. Take 3 milks from coconut
  6. Melt jaggery and filter it
  7. Carefully remove Ada from leaf and cut it into cubes
  8. In a thick bottom pan add Ada and jaggery
  9. Cook till it is thick. Add ghee frequently
  10. Then add third milk and boil it well
  11. Then add seconds milk and boil it
  12. At last add first milk and switch off flame immediately
  13. Add cardamom powder, fried cashew and kismis

My Tip:

Careful while adding coconut milk. It shouldn't be watery.
