Whole Wheat Uttappam

Ingredients to make Whole Wheat Uttappam

  • Whole wheat 2 cup
  • Dosa rice 1/4 cup
  • tomato chopped 1/2 cup
  • onion chopped 1/2 cup
  • carrot grated 1/2 cup
  • paneer grated 1/4 cup
  • salt 3/4 tsp
  • water 3-4 cup
  • Achari masala powder of ciba taaza 2 tsp (optional)

How to make Whole Wheat Uttappam

  1. 4 HOURS SOAKED WHOLE WHEAT 2 CUP
  2. ADD SALT AND WATER GRIND COARSELY
  3. ADD 4 HOURS SOAKED 1/4 CUP RICE
  4. CONTINUE GRINDING
  5. ADD DESEEDED AND CHOPPED TOMATOES AND ONIONS, GRIND UNTIL SMOOTH
  6. POUR THE GROUND BATTER
  7. ADD SUFFICIENT WATER, THE BATTER SHOULD NOT BE SO WATERY OR THICK
  8. GRATED CARROTS AND PANEER
  9. ACHARI MASALA POWDER 2 TSP, MIX WELL
  10. APPLY OIL AND HEAT TAVA
  11. POUR 2 TBSP BATTER, SPREAD LIGHTLY, CLOSE AND COOK IN MEDIUM FLAME FOR 2 MINUTES
  12. OPEN THE LID, SPRINKLE SOME OIL
  13. FLIP OVER IT, COOK FOR 2 MORE MINUTES
  14. REMOVE AND SERVE
