Ingredients to make Tandoori Chicken
- A whole chicken (cleaned and washed from inside)
- oil- 2 teaspoons (for marinating) + 1 teaspoon (for brushing)
- lemon juice-1 tablespoon
- For Marination:
- red chilli powder- 4 teaspoon
- Chaat masala- 2 teaspoons
- cinnamon sticks- 3
- Black peppercorns- 1 teaspoon
- Ajwain- 1/2 teaspoon
- Green cardamom- 3
- Black cardamom- 4
- coriander seeds- 1 tablespoon
- cumin seeds- 1 tablespoon
- cloves- 4
- turmeric powder-1/2 teaspoon
- Tandoori masala powder- 2 teaspoon
- Red food colouring- a few drops
- curd- 1/2 cup
- salt to taste
- ginger-garlic paste- 3 tablespoon
How to make Tandoori Chicken
My Tip:
I prefer to marinate it overnight, it makes the chicken more juicy.
