Ingredients to make Coconut Cookies

  • Butter 1 packet or 50 gms
  • Sugar powder 1/2 kg
  • 7 eggs, only yellow parts
  • Grinded coconut 3
  • Roasted semolina 1/2 kg
  • Pure ghee 4 tbsp
  • Cashewnuts powder 50 gms
  • Baking Powder 1 Tsp
  • Khova 1/4 kg
  • 6-7 tsp cardamon powder
  • A pinch of salt

How to make Coconut Cookies

  1. Take a pan, add the grinded coconut along with sugar powder and mix it for a few minutes.
  2. Now take the roasted semolina, after it gets cooled mix it with the eggs (yellow parts) and add pure ghee, cardamom powder unsalted butter, baking powder, cashewnut powder, khova, salt and mix it over all. Cover the pan with a lid and keep it closed overnight.
  3. The very next day, you can place them into different shapes and bake it for 20 minutes.
  4. Serve them warm for best taste.
My Tip: Grease the baking tray with butter then sprinkle maida flour on it for easy remoulding.

I don't use thee at all but add more unsalt ed butter and also use only dedicated coconut powder. I also mix self raising flour instead. of semolina.
