Paneer Stir Fry In Sweet Chilli Sauce

Ingredients to make Paneer Stir Fry In Sweet Chilli Sauce

  • For paneer Stir fry- 100gm paneer
  • 1 cup of veg (red, green and yellow bell pepper cut in cubes, carrots)
  • 1/2 cup spring onions
  • 2 garlic pods, finely chopped
  • 1 red chilli
  • 1' ginger finely chopped
  • 1 tsp cornflour
  • 1 egg
  • For the Fried rice-
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup cabbage, chopped lengthwise
  • 1/4 cup french beans
  • 2 onions
  • 1 tsp sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp dark soya sauce
  • 1 tsp worcester sauce
  • Salt and pepper as per taste

How to make Paneer Stir Fry In Sweet Chilli Sauce

  1. For the Paneer Stir Fry-
  2. Mix together the egg and cornflour, then add the paneer cubes and mix again. Keep this aside for 5 mins.
  3. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Now shallow fry these paneer cubes to a nice and golden color on all sides. Keep it aside.
  4. In the same oil, fry the ginger and garlic. Add the onions, red chilli and veggies, then add sweet chilli sauce, dark soy sauce and worcester sauce.
  5. Add the fried paneer along with 1 cup of water. At this point you can either thicken it with cornflour or leave it as a broth. Add salt and pepper as taste.
  6. For the Fried Rice-
  7. Heat oil in a wok. Add the cabbage first, after 10 seconds, add the onions and french beans. Then add salt and pepper. Mix in the red chilli sauce, vinegar and dark soy sauce. Add rice and mix well. Then add salt and pepper as per taste.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

My Tip:

If you don't have precooked rice like me you can cook the rice, cool it and then stir fry it.
