A delicious cake made with banana and honey, a perfect eggless cake for the evening tea.

Ingredients to make Banana Honey Tea Cake - Gluten free

  • Whole wheat flour - 1/2 cup
  • Refined oil - 1/8 cup
  • honey - 3 tbsp
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
  • Small banana - 5

How to make Banana Honey Tea Cake - Gluten free

  1. Grease and dust the baking pan and keep it aside.
  2. Preheat Oven at 160 degree.
  3. Mash 4 the banana nicely, no chunks or lumps should be there.
  4. Add oil to it and give it a mix.
  5. Add honey and mix it nicely so honey incorporates well.
  6. Add baking powder and baking soda to the mix and give it a good mix.
  7. Add vanilla essence and incorporate it well.
  8. Now add flour and mix it gently. Don't over mix. Ensure no lumps are formed.
  9. Pour this batter in greased pan. Pat it 2-3 times to make the air bubbles out.
  10. Slice one banana and put it on top.
  11. Bake it in preheated oven @ 160 degree for 30-35 mins.
  12. Do a toothpick test and ur toothpick comes out clean means your cake is done.
  13. Let it cool on the wired rack.
  14. Slice it and enjoy ur cake with tea, coffee or just like that. A very healthy option for kids.
