About Potato Cauliflower Curry Recipe

A soul satisfying and comfort food of all ages. All time favourite and one of my fav vegetarian Dish. It Is easy and quick to prepare and taste delicious.

Potato Cauliflower Curry

Ingredients to make Potato Cauliflower Curry

  • 2 potatoes chopped
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets and leaves
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 onion sliced
  • 1 green chilly slit
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilly powder
  • ½ tsp kitchen king masala
  • 3 tbsps coriander leaves chopped
  • water as required
  • 2 tbsps oil
  • salt to taste

How to make Potato Cauliflower Curry

  1. IN A PAN ADD 2 TBSPS OIL, 1/2 TSP CUMIN SEEDS AND SAUTE FOR A MIN.
  2. ADD 2 ONION SLICED, 1 GREEN CHILLY SLIT, 1 TSP GINGER GARLIC PASTE AND SAUTE TILL ONION TURNS SOFT.
  3. ADD 1 TOMATO CHOPPED AND SAUTE TILL IT TURNS SOFT AND MUSHY.
  4. ADD 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER, 1 TBSP KASHMIRI CHILLY POWDER, 1/2 TSP KITCHEN KING MASALA.
  5. SAUTE THE MASALAS FOR A MIN, ADD 2 POTATOES CHOPPED AND SALT TO TASTE
  6. ON A MEDIUM HEAT COOK THE POTATOES FOR 8-10 MINS.
  7. ADD 2 CUPS OF CAULIFLOWER FLORETS AND TENDER LEAVES, STIR AND MIX WELL.
  8. ON MEDIUM HEAT COOK FOR ABOUT 5 MINS
  9. ADD WATER, COVER THE PAN AND COOK ON MEDIUM HEAT TILL THE POTATOES AND CAULIFLOWER IS COOKED WELL.
  10. ADJUST THE GRAVY CONSISTENCY, ADD CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES, GIVE A QUICK STIR AND TAKE OFF THE HEAT.
