Using leftover dal to make wholesome breakfast

Leftover dal chila

Ingredients to make Leftover dal chila

  • 1/2 cup leftover moong dal
  • 2 1tblspn oats
  • 2tbspn wheat flour
  • 1/4cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 chopped chilli
  • Pinch of haldi
  • 1tsp sugar
  • 1/4tsp chaat masala
  • salt to taste
  • oil

How to make Leftover dal chila

  1. Mix everything accept oil..consistency should be of dosa batter, heat tawa and oil it lightly Now add the made batter and let it cook crisp (flame to be on low to medium), serve with your fav dip or sauce.
  2. Mixing ingredients
  3. Adding wheat flour
  4. Batter consistency..(should be like dosa Batter, this seems bit thick in pic though)
  5. Chila is ready
  6. Serve

My Tip:

1)Can add rice flour, gram flour with wheat flour or can skip and use only oats(powder) 2) can add grated veggitables.
