ABOUT McAloo Tikki Burger RECIPE

This is a recipe of McAloo Tikki burger , made at home with raw bananas, potatoes and peas. A yummy snack for all times.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Potatoes - 200 gm
  2. Boiled green peas - 1/4 th cup
  3. Boiled raw bananas - 2-3
  4. 1/2 cup grated carrots
  5. 2 tsp makka ka aatta [maize flour]
  6. Salt
  7. pepper powder - 1 tsp
  8. Cornflour - 1 tsp
  9. Semolina - 1-2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Grate the boiled potatoes and put them in a bowl. Grate the boiled raw bananas as well and add them to the potatoes.
  2. Now add the carrots, green peas, salt, pepper powder. Mix the vegetables and add the cornflour as well as the maize flour.
  3. Now mix well, form a dough and divide this into equal sized tikkis. Shape them and coat them with semolina.
  4. Now freeze them for 15 minutes so that they harden up a bit. Then deep fry the tikkis in hot oil, until golden brown in color.
  5. Now place this tikki between 2 halves of a burger bun, place a cheese slice, some mayonnaise and tomato sauce. Serve hot.
