ABOUT jack fruit kofta curry RECIPE

jack fruit crushed mixed with spices and gram flour and made into balled and deep fried and dipped in spicy gravey

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. small size jackfruit pealed and crushed
  2. 1 cup oil
  3. 2 spoons garlic paste
  4. 1 spoons ginger paste
  5. 2 onion paste 1 spoon poppy seeds
  6. 1 spoon Garam masala
  7. 1 spoon chilly powder
  8. 1 spoon tarmaric
  9. 2 spoon salt
  10. 1 spoon pepper powder
  11. small amount of coriander for garnishing
  12. 2 spoons of gram flour

Instructions

  1. for kofta balls :
  2. first crush jack fruit mix salt pepper chilly powder turmeric garam masala ,according to taste add small amount of garlic ginger oonion paste add 2 spoons of gram flour and poppy seed and bind them in small balls .
  3. Heat ample amount of oil and deep fry the koftas in them, keep them aside.
  4. For the gravy :
  5. Heat some oil in a pan ,add remaining onion garlic ginger paste let it get browned . Add chilly, pepper, tamarind ,Garam masala .
  6. let it cook properly & add water. bring upto boil and the drop the kofta balls to it. garnish with coriander
