About Sweet potato salad Recipe

Sweet potatoes are an excellent source of vitamin A. Vitamin A is important for keeping your eyes and skin healthy.

Sweet potato salad

Ingredients to make Sweet potato salad

  • 3 medium sized sweet potatoes
  • 3 tabspoon roasted peanuts
  • 4 Teaspoons ghee
  • 1 medium sized cucumber
  • 1 medium sized tomato
  • 2 tabspoons corriander leaves
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • salt to taste
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice

How to make Sweet potato salad

  1. Boil 5 minuets sweet potato and cube it.
  2. Heat 2 teaspoon ghee in a non stick pan. Sauté sweet potatoes till light golden.
  3. Remove seeds and cube the cucumber and tomato.
  4. Transfer them into bowl.
  5. Add chopped coriander leaves, green chilli and sweet potatoes.
  6. Sauté peanut lightly with the remaining ghee and add that to the bowl.
  7. Add red chilli powder salt and lemon juice. Mix well and serve.

My Tip:

A very healthy salad. The high amount of dietary fiber make sweet potato a great food if you are trying to lose weight.
