Spiced Chicken Sausage Pulao

Ingredients to make Spiced Chicken Sausage Pulao

  • Steamed rice 2 cups
  • chicken sausages 6, cut into small peices
  • Rosewater 2 drops
  • onions 1 small chopped
  • tomato 1 chopped
  • Tandoori chicken masala 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1 /2 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • Roasted cumin powder 1 tsp
  • coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Few mint and coriander leaves
  • Oil/ghee 1 tbsp
  • Whole spices

How to make Spiced Chicken Sausage Pulao

  1. Fry the chicken sausages and keep aside.
  2. In a pan, add oil and the whole spices. Now add the onions and fry till they turn translucent, then add the tomatoes and fry.
  3. Add the tandoori masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, salt and fry till its mushy.
  4. Now add the sausages and stir fry for a minute. Then add the mint, coriander leaves and rose water.
  5. At this stage add the steamed rice, stir fry for 2 mins or until its well mixed.
  6. Garnish with additional mint corianter leaves, fried onions and ghee.

My Tip:

With the addition of a little ghee and rosewater it takes the flavor of the erstwhile biryani. Also ensure that the rice is well strained with no water.
