This dal is.mixture of 5 types of dal , moong split dal , tuvar dal , masoor dal , mogar dal and chana dal this recipe is made from years to years in each and every home of rajasthan , this recipe was taught to my mom by my grandmom , its very healthy and best combo with rice , roti , parathas , bati , puris , its very nutritive healthy and have lots of proteins and vitamins friends try this dal and pls give your reviews

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/4Th cup tuvar dal
  2. 1/4 Th cup green moong split dal
  3. 1/4 th Cup chana dal
  4. 1/4 Th cup yellow mogar dal
  5. 1/4Th cup masoor dal
  6. 1Finely chopped onion
  7. 1Finely chopped tomato
  8. 1/2Tsp grated ginger
  9. 1Tsp red chilly powder
  10. 1/2Tsp garam masala powder
  11. 1/2Tsp turmeric powder
  12. 1/2 Tsp corriander powder
  13. 1Dry red chilly
  14. Pinch of asaifoeidita
  15. 1Tbsp ghee
  16. Some curry leaves
  17. Salt to taste
  18. Little kasoori methi

Instructions

  1. ADD 1/4 TH CUP EACH GREEN SPLIT MOONG DAL , TUVAR DAL , MASOOR DAL
  2. 1/4 CUP OF CHANA DAL AND YELLOW MOGAR DAL
  3. ADD WATER TO DAL
  4. WASH IT 3-4 TIMES
  5. SOAK FOR 30 MINUTES WITH ENOUGH WATER AND PRESSURE COOK IT WITH 3-4 WHISTLES
  6. ADD 1TBSP GHEE TO PAN
  7. ADD PINCH OF ASAFOIEDITA AND 1/2 TSP OF CUMMIN SEEDS
  8. ADD 1/2 TSP OF MUSTARD SEEDS 5-6 CURRY LEAVES AND 1DRY CHILLY
  9. ADD CHOPPED ONIONS
  10. ADD 1 TSP OF RED CHILLI POWDER AND 1/2 TSP OF TURMERIC POWDER
  11. ADD 1 TSP OF DRY CORRIANDER POWDER AND 1/2 TSP OF GARAM MASALA
  12. ADD 1/2 TSP OF AAMCHUR POWDER
  13. ADD 1TSP OF GRATED GINGER
  14. AFTER A MIX ADD FINELY CHOPPED TOMATOES
  15. AS TOMATOES ARE COOKED ADD SALT
  16. ADD COOKED DAL
  17. MIX IT AND COOK FOR 5-7 MINUTES
  18. DAL IS READY TO SERVE
  19. SERVE IN SERVING BOWL
  20. SPRINKLE SOME KASOORI METHI OVER IT AND SERVE
